I was skeptical at first because I have tried a couple different intra-workout supplements and was never really sold. Troponin's intra-workout is different. After using it for some training sessions and then forgetting to pack it one day, I absolutely noticed the difference in that workout. I have forgotten to pack it since. There is no way I could get through my leg workouts without it.
So typically my intra workout drink was just a Gatorade. That was fine and dandy but the sugar would bloat me. In my nutrition plan field rations was called for I looked into it & it has some killer ingredients and said hey why not? It was night and day! I had nice steady energy, im not as bloated, pumps are crazy, my recovery is most notable tho. I might be slightly sore but you can feel the difference if you weren’t taking anything or having a Gatorade like me. Iv been training for 18years and when I say I can feel a difference especially in recovery I can, this is a must buy.
This has been the best intra I've used for many reasons. It actually feels like it gives you a pick me up during a long or tough training session. Beyond that, it doesn't pull water into the gut so there's no bloated ot heavy feeling while drinking it. Great stuff!
In the past, I only ever took an intra because I was “supposed to”, but wow, this stuff makes a difference! Paired with WTF as a pre, making me feel like I can run through a brick wall, “Field Rations” provided a sustained skin splitting pump and hunger for the next set. Now I feel sorry for every workout I destroy.
