I was really impressed with your training and nutrition DVD! You clearly love what you do and have a talent to convey that knowledge to others! After 16 months of high volume training I have switched over to DC training and have seen great results in just 3 weeks. I'm already up 10lbs and hope to gain another 15 before my show in June.
Take care and God Bless!

I have purchased and watched countless training DVD's from the top pro's in bodybuilding and it seems that some are in the business of producing the DVD that is the longest even if the substance is redundent. Project Superheavyweight has several unique features I liked ... For someone who has been training since 1981 I have to admit I'm not impressed easily, but this DVD set would get a 9.5 out of 10 on my scale. I encourage anyone that is a practitionare of bodybuilding to add this to their collection. Props on a great product.

"Meeting the Scale: The Art of Making Weight" by Shaun Mirjavadi
Have you ever watched a pre-fight weigh-in and noticed how gaunt and stringy that most fighters look as they get on the scale, only to see them with full cheeks and muscles the very next day as they step into the cage or ring? Some of them look like they might have gained 10 or even 15 pounds since just the night before. This effect is due to the process of weight cutting, or what is referred to as body weight manipulation.

"Nutritional Leverage" by Shelby Starnes
Virtually every successful bodybuilder or fitness model has a top-notch nutrition coach in their corner.
Now these coaches aren't your garden-variety nutritionists that give you a food pyramid and tell you to follow a "healthy diet." These guys are more like masters of manipulating nutrient levels to get a specific, visual, physical effect, and they're employed by even the most studious physique competitors to take the guesswork out of their nutrition plan.

Post-Workout Insulin Spikes, by Justin Harris
Many authorities speak of high glycemic index (GI) carbohydrates post-workout to spike insulin levels. One of the most common is 80–100 grams in the form of dextrose/maltodextrin. But what are the benefits of consuming carbohydrates post-workout to spike insulin and is this really necessary?

A Fat that BURNS Fat? by Justin Harris
Many forms of fat are “healthy.” Omega 3 fatty acids have been shown to decrease inflammation and benefit circulatory system health. Omega 6 fatty acids are actually “inflammatory” fatty acids, which work to increase the pro-inflammatory leukotriene, LTB4. LTB4 augments the production of interleukin 1, which is called the endogenous pyrogen, and establishes the temperature set point of the body. An increase in the temperature set point will cause a subsequent increase in the metabolic rate.
